Travel and coverage

Salt air and weather are hard on a building. Paintwork, window reveals and anything timber facing the sea need attention far more often here than they do inland, and putting that off tends to cost more later rather than less. Away from the front it’s mostly Victorian terracing through the older west end, with the usual run of decorating, flooring and small repairs. It’s the longest run on the Teesside side for me, so it’s worth listing everything that needs doing rather than calling me out for one thing.
